Audio
Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk given at a Renewal Retreat in 1979. The title of the retreat was "Unless a Man Be Born Again."
Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: Talk #3: I want to talk about faith because for most of us it is not easy just to sit still and allow things to happen over a period of time, particularly when nothing seems to be happening. The Lord is often hidden. We will start by looking at Abraham, who can show us the message of faith that has to unfold gradually. And then later we will look at St. Thomas Talk #4: Today I would like to concentrate on Jesus. Yesterday we saw Abraham being called by God and his responding in faith. Our call, like St. Thomas, is come, follow me by Jesus. What I want to talk about today is really the whole question of what is this man really like, whom we are being called to follow. Not to analyse him, but to look at what interested Jesus during his life, his focal points of interest to get to the heart of Jesus and "what makes him tick" so we can follow where he is leading us.
